At 82 years old, Sankaran continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his unparalleled rhythmic mastery, creativity, and vitality. Joining him are virtuosic musicians: Carnatic flautist Raman Kalyan, vocalist Vidyasagar Vankayala, percussionist Curtis Andrews (a long-time student of Sankaran), guitarist Jared Burrows, and bassist Dave Soutar-Spidel. Together, they will present a mesmerizing blend of traditional South Indian (Carnatic) music and contemporary jazz, featuring original compositions by Trichy Sankaran and Curtis Andrews, as well as stunning arrangements of Carnatic classics.
